ABOUT ME
My name is Elie Fitzgerald, better known as FitgFitz. I'm a custom sneaker designer and entrepreneur, originally from La Courneuve, in the Seine-Saint-Denis department (93).From a very young age, I've been driven by two passions: drawing and sneakers. It quickly became clear: why choose between the two when I could combine them? That's how my passion for customizing sneakers was born, a craft that now allows me to transform each pair into a unique creation.Like many artisans, I started out as a self-taught craftsman. I spent countless hours experimenting with different techniques, perfecting my skills, and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. Each project allowed me to learn, grow, and develop the expertise that now defines FitgFitz.Over time, this passion has become a true vocation. I completed a business creation course, created my brand, launched my website, and built my business with a single ambition: to offer fully handmade, personalized sneakers where every detail matters.Today, I design bespoke creations for individuals, artists, and companies who want to wear a pair that reflects their personality. My style draws inspiration from street art, urban culture, design, and the stories my clients want to tell through their shoes.
Over the years, my expertise has also expanded to include new customization techniques.
For me, a personalized sneaker is more than just a fashion accessory. It's a piece of self-expression, a keepsake, a gift, or even a way to assert one's identity. Each creation is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, patience, and passion to offer a pair unlike any other.
Award
In April 2018, I was honored to receive the Prix de l'Espoir de l'Artisanat d'Art (Hope Award for Fine Craftsmanship), awarded by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Seine-Saint-Denis. This distinction recognizes my expertise and entrepreneurial journey.
