How to Clean Your Custom Sneakers

As soon as you notice dirt or your custom sneakers start to get dirty over time, never use harsh products or solvents. These could damage the protective varnish and ruin the paint on your custom sneakers.

Opt for gentle cleaning.

You will need:

• a clean microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled brush;

• warm water;

• a mild soap (such as Marseille soap or a neutral soap).

Lightly dampen your cloth or brush with the soap and water mixture, then gently clean the surface using circular motions. There's no need to scrub hard; a few strokes are usually enough to remove everyday marks.

Once you've finished cleaning, wipe your shoes with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any excess moisture.

How to clean the soles?

The soles of your custom sneakers can be cleaned a little more vigorously, as they are often the parts most exposed to dirt.

Use a stiff-bristled brush with the same mixture of warm water and mild soap. Alternate circular and straight strokes to reach the grooves and effectively remove dirt.

However, be careful to avoid painted areas and do not scrub the customization directly with a stiff brush.

Finish by wiping the soles with a clean, dry cloth.

• clean your sneakers as soon as the first signs of dirt appear;

• avoid abrasive products, bleach, acetone, or solvents;

• avoid putting your custom sneakers in the washing machine;
